iMasFinance, an authorised financial services provider, invites applications for a 12-month Accountant Internship aimed at motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team.  This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in a supportive and professional environment.  It will offer

Key Responsibilities

• Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Participate in the audit process and help ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Learn and apply financial analysis techniques to improve our financial operations
• Contribute to various finance projects, including budgeting and forecasting
• Provide support in managing accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation
• Capture fixed assets, do asset count and fixed asset reconciliations
• Assist with inbound calls for member benefit queries

Minimum requirements:

• Recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is a plus
• Available to start the internship programme on the 01 February 2026

Programme Details:

• Duration: 12 months
• Monthly allowance: R8,000
• Intake: Limited to 2 interns
• Start date: February 2026
